Vertex Bergbaumaschinen Unveils the VCI1213RS2 Mobile Impact Crusher with Enhanced Screening Integration

Vertex Bergbaumaschinen introduces the VCI1213RS2 Mobile Impact Crusher, featuring a high-strength hopper, CF250 crusher, advanced vibrating screen, and multiple conveyors. Designed for quarrying and recycling, the unit offers efficient on-site crushing and precision screening.
- (1888PressRelease) June 13, 2025 - Vertex Bergbaumaschinen has announced the launch of its latest mobile impact crushing unit, the VCI1213RS2, engineered to meet the evolving demands of on-site crushing and precision screening in quarrying, construction, and recycling operations.
The VCI1213RS2 integrates a high-strength Q355B steel hopper/feeder system with over 12 mm plate thickness, delivering enhanced resistance to wear, impact, and mechanical fatigue. Designed for efficiency, the machine’s primary crushing component features the CF250 jaw crusher, equipped with a double chamber design and variable frequency start. The weighted rotor operates at a speed of 650 RPM to maximize crushing ratio and material throughput.
A highlight of the new model is its modular screening system. The vibrating screen is designed with adjustable shock absorber frequency and customizable screen angle. Its seismic isolation coefficient reaches 98%, aided by Rosta components imported from Switzerland. This configuration ensures optimized material separation across a wide range of applications.
Powering the unit is the QSB5.9-C180 engine from Dongfeng Cummins, providing 132 kW of output. The hydraulic system is supported by the HA7V160LV2.0RZF pump, contributing to consistent operational reliability.
Material handling is distributed across multiple conveyors, including two finished product conveyors (B1000, 11 kW), a main conveyor (B1000, 11 kW) with 2.0 m/s belt speed, and a return conveyor (B550, 4 kW). Transition and optional tail conveyors round out the transport setup, enabling tailored material discharge strategies.
For tracked mobility, the VCI1213RS2 employs a Strickland NS385P undercarriage, with a chain center distance of 3,800 mm and 500 mm chain plate width. This setup supports stable operation on varied terrain.
The VCI1213RS2 is Vertex’s latest step toward adaptable, field-ready equipment that aligns with operational demands in efficiency, durability, and environmental control.
