    The 2 hour weekend workshop is for couples and individuals interested in a fun and practical illustrations on how to better communication and co-create. Although you will be learning the fun and social partner dance known as Blues Dancing, you will also learn how to translate those same collaborative concepts into everyday relationships.

    The class is scheduled for Saturday, Jan 19 at 1:00pm Triangle Dance Studio on 2603 S. Miami Blvd., Durham, NC. The interactive class will be taught by Laura Rose, a social dance instructor. Lesli Doares, a relationship therapist, will be on site to better emphasize how to translate those same techniques into everyday life.

    "Part of our class is designed to teach couples the very versatile Blues Dancing which is perfect for weddings, class reunion or pleasant night out," said Laura Rose. "But it will be a dance class with a twist. Successful couples are composed of individuals that work as one unit while they maintain their individuality and style. Together they are able to create an exciting new entity. In fun couple dancing, as in life, there are specific communication and active listening skills."

    The seminar topics are built around 5 concepts:

    • Role reversal and understanding
    • Connection and working as one unit
    • Collaboration and co-creating, while staying individuals
    • Learn the art of partner Blues Dancing
