Uncork'd Entertainment Starts the Pool Party for The Blackout September 3rd, 2013
Uncork'd Entertainment has teamed up with director Matt Hish to release the film and comedy The Blackout. The Blackout will release through various video-on-demand formats September 3rd and comedy fans can preview the release here.
- (1888PressRelease) August 22, 2013 - Los Angeles, California - Uncork'd Entertainment has recently picked up distribution rights for the thrilling comedy The Blackout. Formerly titled Halfway to a Blackout, this title, from director Matt Hish, takes a page from Animal House's (1978) hard partying ways and the spontaneity of the Hangover series of films. Four bandmates must piece together a night of hard drinking, before their big rock and roll tour begins. Uncork'd Ent. will make The Blackout available September, 2013 on VOD.
This film was produced by both La Dolce Vita Inc. and Glossy Pictures. The script was developed by Keith Brown and actress Autumn Federici is producer. The film stars Michael Graziadei, Scott Rosa, John Joyce and Flood Reed. Each actor plays one of the central characters, four members of a rock and roll band called Bad Math. Their big world tour is put on hold after their newly signed contract is lost in a booze and drug fuelled haze. Now, they will have to piece back the previous night's events, with the help of science, state dependent learning. They must smoke, drink and snort their way in order to remember the night before. Can they find their contract to save their tour?
The latest Red Band movie trailer for The Blackout has been released. And, comedy fans might find a few clues as to where this band is heading - oblivion! Beth, played by Shane Lynch ("Magic City") can also be seen punching the drummer, in the clip. As well, a new poster has been released, which shows several of the band's attractive groupies. Actresses Danielle Reverman and Antoinette Pettis are shown forefront, in the aftermath of a carefree pool party. Comedy fans can watch the hilarity begin September 3rd, 2013 through several online retailers.
