  • (1888PressRelease) August 08, 2012 - Having reformed last year after a decade-long hiatus for a one-off reunion gig in London, UK band Replicant Saints have decided to get back into rehearsals and are working on new material.

With their roots firmly in Britpop and the alternative '90s scene, both the demand among today's music lovers for bands of the grungy era and following demands from their die-hard fans, Replicant Saints have decided to play a handful of gigs towards the end of the year for their still-loyal fanbase after all these years.

The band, who split well over a decade ago, were reunited last year for a one-off concert and party at West London's legendary Half Moon in Putney which was such good fun that devotees have clamoured for more of the indie-alt.pop five piece.

With a cult following of rowdy fans, gigs back in the day had the reputation for being boisterous affairs more akin to a frat party, but the band has always prided itself on performance in the live arena and only ever given away self-recorded promos for free, often on cassette in keeping with their indier-than-thou roots.

However, rumours abound that new recordings may be in the pipeline, with even the possibility of the band releasing its debut single nearly twenty years after their formation in the early 90s!

Anyone wishing to get involved in what could be a resplendent pop story should first sign up to the band's twitter handle - ( @ ) replicantsaints - and keep your eyes on the press for future updates.
