Donna Price of Compass Rose Consulting and Melissa McGarrigle of Cookie Crumb Productions have come together to offer the area a distinctive and fun team building/team development experience. Price, a leadership consultant and team strategist works with teams to function more effectively together, perform higher and accomplish more. MGarrigle, creates unique and delicious signature cookies in her Hackettstown Bakery, shipping around the country and the world. Together, the two will provide an experiential team building exercise that can either be done as a one day team bakery experience or part of a two or three day team training and bakery experience.
Price states: "My favorite way to work with teams is experientially, the learning is deeper and has a longer lasting effect, the bakery provides a totally neutral learning environment for most teams and that allows the team to work together on something that is out of their norm. As a result, we have a practice ground for using new team skills and the team (hopefully) comes out with some great cookies to take home!"
McGarrigle adds: "I have wanted to do this type of training here for a long time. Coming out of the corporate world, I know the many, meaningless trainings that can occur for teams. I think that the combination of the bakery and Donna's experiential team building background give us a powerful team building venue that can really make a difference in team performance."
