Twenty-Ninth Street, the popular shopping and dining district near downtown Boulder, will be transformed into a first rate outdoor art gallery this summer when its premier annual Boulder Festival of the Arts on 29th Street returns for its fourth anniversary. This two-day juried art event features the finest artists in the country including top local artists and an eclectic mix of original handmade art. Admission is free and open to the public.

Bright, bold and even whimsical, the unique works of art on display offer festival goers a vast array of mediums that appeal to a variety of tastes and include paintings, life size sculptures, photography, glass, wood, jewelry, collage and ceramics. The prices are set to suit all budgets and range from $25 hand-designed earrings to $30,000 metal sculptures. All artists will be on site for the duration of the show available to discuss their art and inspiration.

"The art show is a great way to explore the work of many different artists in one setting," says festival promoter Howard Alan. "You have the opportunity to meet and connect with the artist before making a purchase, which makes the investment much more meaningful and personal."

Howard Alan Events, the country's largest producer of fine Art Festivals including the renowned Downtown Aspen Art Festival and the Beaver Creek Art Festival, is excited to return to the City of Boulder with another high caliber juried art fair. The artists, juried by an independent panel of expert judges, are hand-selected from hundreds of applicants based on quality and diversity. All of their artwork is original and handmade in America.

The Boulder Festival of the Arts on 29th Street, just a short drive from Denver, makes the arts accessible to a broad audience. The event appeals to people of all ages including families, art enthusiasts as well as serious art collectors looking to add to their collections.

Directions: From Denver - take U.S. 36 West to Boulder (becomes 28th Street); turn right on Canyon Boulevard; located just west of 28th Street between Arapahoe Avenue and Walnut Street.
