Tulix Systems Announces Development of Applications for Dune HD Set-Top-Boxes
Tulix expanding the options of platforms and devices to stream to for its customers.

The new applications will allow content owners and aggregators to stream live and recorded video to subscribers and viewers on their own customized and branded devices. While Tulix already offers branded streaming applications on Roku, iOS, Google TV, and Android, providing content on Dune devices will allow its customers to provide a complete end-to-end streaming experience by offering their own streaming hardware to viewers.
The new applications will be fully compatible with Tulix's existing range of services, which include live streaming, on-demand video, and numerous other features. The service can also be monetized with the use of Tulix's subscription and pay-per-view billing engines. In discussing the new service, Nino Doijashvili, the company's EVP, said: "Broadcasters and content aggregators don't want to limit themselves or put themselves at the mercy of another company's app store when providing their content to viewers. By working with Tulix to create their own set-top-box on Dune devices, broadcasters create additional value for their viewers and circumvent the hurdles of the application submission process to third party stores."
Development for Dune HD set-top-boxes is just a recent step in Tulix's goal to give broadcasters more options in delivering and monetizing their content.
