Trigild Expands Staff of Commercial Real Estate Professionals

  • San Diego, CA (1888PressRelease) December 11, 2010 - Trigild, a rapidly growing San Diego-based distressed property management, receivership and loan recovery specialist, has expanded its professional staff, naming Will Wikenhofer its new director of real estate; Joshua Hall, director of real estate projects; and James Wilmot II, property operations manager.

    Winkenhofer will be based in San Diego; Hall in Washington D.C.; and Wilmot in Las Vegas.

    "We have added upwards of three million square feet of hotel, retail and commercial office properties to our portfolio in recent months, and are thrilled to have these talented new team members on board to accommodate our continued growth," said Bill Hoffman, president, founder and CEO of Trigild.

    The trio comes to Trigild equipped with many years of commercial real estate, finance and property management expertise.

    A seasoned financial and real estate industry professional, San Diego-based Winkenhofer is now charged with finding and evaluating strategic initiatives for Trigild. He was previously a senior associate with Greystar Real Estate Partners, sourcing and underwriting acquisitions opportunities throughout Southern California, and was also development director of Channel Islands Redevelopment in Ventura, Calif., as well as development director of Greystar Development Group in Houston. For nearly ten years, he was with the United States Marine Corps, serving as both a flight operations director/aircraft commander and director of recruiting. He holds an MBA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a bachelor's degree in business administration from Eastern Kentucky University.

    Hall-with a background in project management, leasing, asset acquisition and disposition- oversees day-to-day operations of Trigild's growing portfolio of office/retail and multifamily properties throughout the Baltimore and Washington D.C. areas. He most recently worked as a broker with The Ezra Company and was a principal with Hancock Property Solutions LP, a real estate investment partnership focusing on the rehab of distressed real estate in the Washington D.C. area. He is also a trained engineer, and was previously in the U.S. Navy, working as an engineering project officer and operations officer. He holds an MBA from Harvard Business School, as well as a bachelor's degree in ocean engineering from the United States Naval Academy.

    With extensive experience in commercial property management as well as acquisitions, financing and leasing/sales of commercial real estate, Wilmot is in charge of managing Trigild-operated assets throughout the Las Vegas area, among them office, retail and residential properties. He has many years of experience as a commercial real estate professional in the Las Vegas region and was most recently a property manager with Commerce/TNP in Las Vegas, overseeing a portfolio of nearly one million-square-feet in retail, office and industrial. A licensed real estate broker, he holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Nevada.
