TreeHouse Mortgage Group Celebrates 10 Years in Salinas and Move to New Location with Open House & Ribbon Cutting on July 19
Monterey Peninsula Chamber of Commerce and Salinas Valley Chamber of Commerce To Hold Ribbon Cutting.
- Salinas, CA (1888PressRelease) June 27, 2018 - TreeHouse Mortgage Group (THMG) will celebrate 10 years in Salinas as well as a move to a new location in the city with an Open House and Ribbon Cutting July 19, with the Monterey Peninsula Chamber of Commerce and Salinas Valley Chamber of Commerce.
The event will be held from 5-6:30 p.m., Thursday, July 19, at the new THMG office in the Tower Building offices at 838 South Main St., Suite C in Salinas. This event is open to the public. The joint Ribbon Cutting will take place at 5:45 p.m. The Mayor of Salinas and other city officials are scheduled to be on site for the ribbon cutting.
“Treehouse Mortgage Group expanded in to the Salinas market almost 10 years ago during the financial crisis of 2008 when most other mortgage banking institutions were exiting the market,” says Heidi Daunt, Area Manager of THMG. “We felt it was important to be a trustworthy source of financial information for the community. It is our top priority for our clients to make informed decisions for their future.”
In addition, recipients of the THMG 2017/2018 Giving Tree Program donations, including the Food Bank for Monterey County, Veterans Transition Center, and Gathering for Women, will be on hand for a check presentation prior to the Ribbon Cutting. In 2017/2018, THMG donated almost $23,000 for local organizations.
The 2018 fall quarter Giving Tree recipient will be Salinas’ Dorothy’s Kitchen, a full-service, commercial kitchen serving meals to 400 people daily and 1,000 on special occasions. The kitchen is part of Dorothy’s Place, which has been operated by the Franciscan Workers of Junipero Serra for more than three decades and is dedicated to serving people who experience homelessness, poverty, and marginalization in Monterey County.
At the Ribbon Cutting, guests will be able to explore the Salinas office and meet the Salinas and Monterey Teams. The Salinas Team is led by Oscar Mora, On-site Branch Manager/ Loan Officer and Letha Wilson, Licensed Loan Officer Assistant.
