  • (1888PressRelease) December 11, 2015 - Clearwater, FL - One hundred and sixty-five guests visited the center, comprised of families, friends and individuals of all ages. Holiday treats were hot cocoa, hot apple-cider and 8 different types of freshly baked holiday cookies and goodies from the Historic Fort Harrison award-winning chefs. Favorite Christmas songs were played live on piano in the center accompanied by impromptu caroling from talented guests.

One visitor stated, "That's the best Chocolate Chip cookie I've ever tasted!" And though an estimated 495 cookies and cups of hot beverages were served to guests, the focal point was the information center itself.

Attendees viewed information in the Scientology Public Information Center, got questions answered and watched brief videos about the basic beliefs of Scientology, its ceremonies and a comprehensive view of the life of Scientology's founder, Mr. L. Ron Hubbard.

"People are curious about Scientology," said Lisa Mansell, Public Affairs Director for the Church, "and this center helps them to get their questions answered. We are happy to welcome the community to our new public information center and share the Christmas cheer!"
