  • (1888PressRelease) March 21, 2020 - The UK based online wood worktops retailer House of Worktops exhibited its solid wood kitchen worktops at UK's leading Kitchen, Bedroom and Bathroom Design Show - known as KBB - in Birmingham, between the dates 1st - 4th March 2020. The exhibition event was a platform hosting UK’s most famous brands from the Kitchen Bedroom and Bathroom Design industry. KBB show accounted for a record number of visitors on two of the four days of the show and the exhibitors were pleasantly surprised with the high demand and the interest for KBB products.

At this year’s show at KBB,The New Guys - House of Worktops managed to take its place amongst the biggest companies in the UK. The company unveiled their already existing line of solid wood worktops, with oak and walnut worktops receiving the highest interest among all the worktop range. House of Worktops was pleasantly surprised by the surge of interest for its deluxe rustic oak worktops, where almost every third visitor wanted to have additional technical information regarding this range. Similar to rustic oak worktops, deluxe rustic oak worktop range has a similar farmhouse-like character but the stave widths are approximately 80mm wide, instead of having a standard stave width of 40mm. Apart from the solid wood worktops, House of Worktops introduced a brand new range of laminate worktops, which also attracted the attention of the visiting professionals.

The packaging technique that House of Worktops used when delivering the worktops was another aspect which was highly appreciated by the customers. Alongside having all the worktops individually packed in shrink-wrap foil, the worktops are also packed in a thick-cardboard box with heavy-duty edge protectors, to protect the products against damages during transport. By doing such expensive and labor intensive packaging, House of Worktops would like to emphasize that the company is fully dedicated to its clients not only producing quality produce but also delivering those quality produce to their end customers in a flawless shape.

The UK headquarter of the company is located just off the Junction 22, from the London orbital motorway - M25, in London Colney, where the company is stocking wood worktops in all sizes. With almost 200 people involved in the harvesting, woodworking and worktop production, House of Worktops is among the very few companies that can claim that are in full-control of the whole product chain, from harvesting the timber to manufacturing and delivering the final product to the client. House of Worktop can afford to provide attractively priced high quality wood worktops to the UK market due to the non-existing middle-men between the producer and the end customers. The company believes in uncompromised quality, where stringent checks have been conducted in almost every stage of the production. Besides consistency, in terms of production quality, the company also guarantees for consistency in terms of color match between the different worktop batches, as the timber material is sourced from the same region.
