New York, NY (1888PressRelease) January 25, 2011 - Jacqueline Urgo, President of The Marketing Directors, Inc., was named Marketing Director of the Year at The NationalsSM award ceremony held on January 12th during the 2011 National Association of Home Builders' (NAHB) annual International Builders' Show (IBS).

Urgo was chosen for the Marketing Director of the Year Gold Award from a group of five finalists from around the country. She received a Silver Award in the same category from the organization in 2005. The Manhattan-based marketing and sales/leasing organization also won Sales Team of the Year at the 2011 ceremony for its work on The Visionaire in Battery Park City.

The awards are presented annually by the NAHB's National Sales and Marketing Council (NSMC), which oversees The NationalsSM, the nation's largest and most prestigious awards competition for new home sales and marketing professionals. This year's gala event was held at the Peabody Hotel in Orlando, Fla.

Jacqueline Urgo joined The Marketing Directors, Inc. in 1986 as a Project Manager and moved up the ranks to Director of Marketing and then President. She has received numerous industry awards in addition to her two Marketing Director awards from the National Sales and Marketing Council, including: 2004 Associated Builders and Owners of Greater New York Emma Lazarus Award, 2007 Women of Influence Award, 2008 Associated Builders and Owners of Greater New York Person of the Year honor and Tri State RE Magazine's 2008 Top Women in Real Estate Award.

They were one of six sales teams nominated for the award.
