- (1888PressRelease) February 13, 2021 - The Infinity School won the EducationWorld Grand Jury Award 20-21 in ‘design thinking leaders’ category, thus, securing first rank in Uttar Pradesh and fourth rank PAN India. Adding to these achievements, The Infinity School staff brought home more laurels with the beginning of 2021.
The Infinity School’s librarian Ms. Rashmi Choudhary won the Rockstar Teachers’ best librarian award for 2020 for her contribution as an educator, as well as, for supporting quality literacy for students at school-level. Ms. Choudhary plays a critical role in helping the school implement their age-appropriate, levelled international reading programme (starting from kindergarten), via in-class libraries & duplex school library.
The reading program aims to develop early literacy & reading habits in students, with enhanced comprehension, reading skills, and a better vocabulary. Students are issued books, suitable for their age, current learning level, vocabulary & interest. The programme includes books from varying genres, to foster a life-long love for reading in children. Ms. Choudhary conducts many interesting activities like author of the month, ‘read aloud’ session, storytelling, puppetry, story trivia, picture composition, photo stories, and other reading-related activities for students. Each grade has four reading periods every week. The Infinity School’s reading programme is quite popular, and not just limited to school students but also other residents in Noida Extension, who can enjoy free-of-cost reading sessions by signing up for the library membership programme.
The Infinity School is also known for its strong brand presence in both the digital and real world. Just recently, Ms. Damayanti Barua (Head-Marketing, Admissions & Advocacy) was felicitated for her exemplary efforts in marketing & branding by ASMA Academia. Ms. Barua is the guiding force behind the school’s marketing campaigns. She won an award at India’s top 30 marketers’ summit 2021, presented by College Dunia and powered by NoPaper Forms. This event witnessed a gathering of the best marketers from all over India, to discuss innovative ideas, best digital marketing practices, and social media trends. The idea was to recognise the efforts of marketers for engaging the audience over digital platforms, with their innovative education campaigns.
Initiatives like having max. 12 students in the online classrooms, game-based learning to engage students, in-house teacher training, and structured programmes for performing arts, etc., have been significant in helping The Infinity School rank among the top five schools on Noida Extension. The school staff and management are constantly implementing new ideas and strategies to take learning beyond the classrooms, especially in the age of digital learning.
