  • (1888PressRelease) July 17, 2012 - The Great British Beer Festival will take place in London next month. The festival has been known to attract upwards of 50,000 visitors every year. At this year's festival, beer lovers will be treated to a wide range of beers, ales and ciders from all around the globe. The Olympia, Kensington, will be the setting for this year's event. The festival will start on Tuesday the 7th of August and run until Saturday the 11th August.

This year's venue sits very close to The Royal Garden Hotel, where luxury accommodation is available to help you have a fantastic stay over the week of the GBBF. Brewers and small-scale drinks producers hailing from throughout the U.K. will be in attendance and it is sure to be a memorable event. Perhaps even one of the biggest live food and drink events of 2012.

There will also be a wide selection of food stalls, offering you the chance to sample exquisite cuisine from a huge variety of region from across the world. On top of the incredible drinks selection and eye-popping array of food, there is also more than enough outside entertainment to keep you occupied if you decide to take some time out from treats on offer.

There will be live music and a wide range of live entertainment on offer throughout the course of the Great British Beer Festival's five day stint so there should be plenty of activities to enjoy if the beer and food wasn't already enough!

CAMRA (short for Campaign For Real Ale) are the brains behind the GBBF and are responsible for ensuring some of the finest independent microbreweries, committed to making real, homemade ale are recognised and discovered by the wider public. With the sheer size of this year's event, this shouldn't be a problem!

There are day passes available for just £6 for CAMRA members otherwise day entry will cost £8 for non-members. Season passes for the entire festival are available for £20 for members and cost £23 for non-members.
