Five people strong with a wealth of experience between them, British band Blagards & Cowboys consist of Adrian Connery (Vocals and Guitar), John Kerrison (Drums), Nick Simper (Bass Guitar), Pete Parks (Guitar) and Barry Parfitt (Piano). With many of them having been performing since the 1960's, this band literally has music running through their veins due to the intensely grand way in which they perform on this album which is surprisingly their debut with all but one of the ten songs written by Adrian and John.
To those who don't know, Nick Simper is a legendary name in music. Being one of the founding members of Deep Purple he adds a sublime edge to this band which need no improvements. They simply give it their all on this record which combines the popular grooves evident when they all first started out in music but produced in a contemporary way which results in an extremely upbeat sound which is bound to put a smile on any person's face. It isn't often you find such a well-produced groove on a debut album but Blagards & Cowboys have pooled all their experience together to create a unique sound.
Whatever you require out of music, it is bound to be found on SKULDUGGERY. This is not a typical record by a band that is just starting out but one which successfully demonstrates their experience. Blagards & Cowboys prove that they are a force to be reckoned with even after their first release.
