  • Chicago, IL (1888PressRelease) August 04, 2012 - After reading many articles that demonize, over-sexualize, overly criticize, and declare Black women as substandard, in June 2012, C.B. launched a blogging social network-The BWE Bloggersphere™: Uncensored and Unapologetic-a blogger social networking venue where Black women bloggers can blog freely with the intention of empowering and uplifting other Black women.

From articles that declared Black women as unattractive and books published suggesting Black women should lower their standards, C.B. decided to step into action and provide a venue that was uncensored and unapologetic in support of Black women everywhere.

In support of the BWE (Black Women Empowerment) movement, C.B. developed The BWE Bloggersphere™ website. Her passion for living a life well is what prompted her to commit herself as well as resources to developing a blog venue without censorship. C.B. believes Black women are the owners of their images; and the time has come for Black women time to take total control of their destinies.

    C.B. states,

"No longer, will we idly stand by and allow our detractors opportunities to revel in humiliating the Black woman. Let us soldier on and make our own way to living a better life because we do deserve so much better."

The BWE Bloggersphere™ bloggers are committed to providing commentary on topics such as beauty, families, finance, health, interracial/intercultural/interfaith relationships, marriage, and more. There have been too many articles demonizing, demeaning, and damaging the images of Black women. From Black women being the ugliest women on earth to Black women being the least desirable for marriage; it is TheBWE Bloggersphere™ commitment to provide uplifting and hard-hitting opinion pieces that contradict such nonsense so often seen or heard on television, radio, in print, and the Internet.
