This Saturday evening, the AQ Gallery, owened by fashion and fine art figure photographer, and custom furniture fabricator, Alberto Bevacqua, is pleased to announce Live Draw V.6.

Live Draw offers a rare glimpse into the world of fine art by allowing spectators to view the work as it is being created. A roster of five artists will draw a nude model before a live audience, giving a unique access into the established practice of life drawing. Each pose will last five to fifteen minutes and upon completion, the work will be presented in the outdoor patio space and available for purchase.

The participating artists are selected based on their discipline and creative processes to ensure an array of perspectives on the human form. In previous Live Draw events, artists have represented oil paint, watercolour, charcoal, pastels, Sumi ink, fashion illustration, and other areas to illustrate different interpretations of the live figure.

The Live Draw environment is crafted to emphasize the dual nature of studio and gallery through accommodating the audience comfortably among the work. Guests are invited to watch in the studio as the artists draw the model or mingle on the spacious patio amid Bevacqua's captivating metal work in various states of completion. In each setting, attendees are exposed to the development of the work around them and feel as though they are participating in the process.

Artists set the price of their pieces without paying commission to the gallery, which fosters a casual atmosphere for patrons to purchase collectible work at an affordable price. Admission to the event is 20.00, which includes catering by Chef, Mohammed Boutarbouche who will be preparing a menu of Moroccan cuisine
