  • (1888PressRelease) September 02, 2013 - After five years of successfully promoting and launching emerging designers from all over the world, The SYNERGY Events will again be hosting their sixth annual "The Emerging Trends Runway Show" during Boston Fashion Week. For seven years now, The SYNERGY Events (http://www.theSYNERGYevents.com) has worked with over 250 international and national designers, major sponsors, buyers and press from Boston and New York, giving extensive opportunities for emerging designers to shine, and in many cases, launch their line.

The main initiative in the production of this show is to introduce the new faces of the fashion industry to the up and coming Boston fashion market, ultimately resulting in the high status and placement of Boston on the international fashion map. This year's participating designers hail from Germany, Saudi Arabia, the USA, Canada, and more featuring jewelry, shoes, and women's clothing.

Nina Athanasiou founded her eponymous line at the end of 2008. Having studied fashion design in school she took a different career path and tried her hand as a freelance illustrator and opened a bar. Only after having her two children did she rediscover her passion. She says, "whether it's architecture, movies / theater, street life, street art or even travel or childhood memories. Quite often, materials can be an inspiration for a certain design - you only have to open your mind and be perspective for everything that comes your way."

Launched in 2011, fashion designer Shefali Chawla Vohra created her own clothing line, Shefali Couture. Based out of Dubai, her fashion forward line incorporates traditionally ethnic designs alongside modern pieces. The couture line is well rounded with both menswear and womenswear fashions integrating ethnic inspired attire and evening wear garments.

Nuvu Studio is honored to be a returning brand from this past year, where the designers are in fact high school students. Other designers include Lisa Loveday Designs, Naomi Davidoff, and House of Laura Williams, all of whom are very excited to be apart of this event.

Each of above designers, plus the many more that makes up "The Emerging Trends Runway and Vendor Show", represent the potential and future of Boston fashion and where The SYNERGY Events is helping to take it. A list of all the designers can be found at: http://et2013.eventbrite.com. The show will take place at the Cyclorama (BCA, Boston) on Oct 5, 2013, from 7PM to 11PM. Tickets for the show start at just $40 and are available at: http://boston.theemergingtrends.com

"At the SYNERGY Events we strive to bring peace and harmony with all of our events. For that reason, for our emerging trends fashion show we have partnered with The One Fund- a charity who aims to assist the victims affected by the events at the Boston Marathon on April 20th, 2013 and the days that followed." Says Reaz Hoque, The CEO of the SYNERGY events. "The SYNERGY Events is a big believer of fashion creating peace and love and we want to bring many types of talents, fashion professionals, designers, models and vendors from all over the world to promote this concept this year. As Boston continues to recover and we hope to help in our own way."
