TechyKids has seen constant growth since they transitioned to a 100% virtual offering. Teaching kids how to code has become increasingly important in today’s world and therefore the team at TechyKids felt the need to offer some introductory programs to get children excited about learning to code. They feel the two new options will provide students and parents with a sample of what computer programming is and to demonstrate how everyone can learn how to code and to not be intimidated.
Intro to Coding – Workshop: A 90 minute session that will take students through some introductory concepts, using age specific teaching tools to give students a taste of what coding and programming is all about! Students will be able to share what they have created with friends and family!
Intro to Coding – Bootcamp: A 4 week, teacher led coding bootcamp that includes 4 one hour classes. Classes are age specific and kids will learn the basics of what is required to code. All in a fun and game based learning platform!
