  • (1888PressRelease) September 13, 2012 - Fresh from the success of its patented MULTI4® concept, TECHNOMARK® is introducing two new lines of marking equipment this year: the fully modular MULTI4® Third Generation and the new Flexmark™ 2-in-1 concept, which is both a hand-held model for marking large bulky parts and a combination model (fixed and portable) for marking parts of all sizes. Flexmark™ has been specially designed to meet the needs of small and medium-sized businesses.

These two new products are notable for their ease of use, rugged construction, performance and power. They feature a simple user interface with intuitive controls, a high-definition colour screen and icon-based navigation. The machines are robust, thanks to the use of aluminium-cast parts in their construction, and feature both a USB and an Ethernet connection. The new MULTI4® and the new Flexmark™ have enhanced marking speeds of several characters per second, along with 40MB of memory, which is enough capacity for approximately 20,000 files.

The MULTI4® (Patent No FR9914782) is one machine with four possible configurations: in a portable configuration, it can be used for marking large and medium-sized parts and parts that are difficult to reach; in conjunction with a bench, for marking small parts; in combination, for marking all sizes of parts; and, finally, in an integrated manner, for marking parts within an automated production line.

TECHNOMARK® offers smart marking thanks to its ground-breaking Intelligent Driving Impact (or IDI®) function (International Patent Application No PCT/FR2006/001246). This function provides a quality and security guarantee for marking. Besides, IDI® electronically compensates for any variation in distance between the part being marked and the marking tool: it is an ideal solution for marking parts that are irregular in shape and/or surface condition.

TECHNOMARK®'s equipment can be used to make quick, attractive markings on any type of material that can be marked and measures up to 63 HRC on the Rockwell hardness scale, including aluminium, copper, brass, bronze, glass, plastic, steel, stainless steel, treated steel, titanium and wood.

TECHNOMARK® has successfully adapted its product range to suit the needs of a wide range of clients and to comply with the latest standards in a host of industries.
