    Cumulative sales (including exports) for the company for the fiscal are 642,416 nos., a growth of 29% over 498,109 nos. sold last year.

    Commercial Vehicles
    The company's sales of commercial vehicles in January 2011 in the domestic market were 40,263 nos., a 12% growth compared to 35,957 vehicles sold in January last year. LCV sales were 23,776 nos., a growth of 17% over January last year. M&HCV sales stood at 16,487 nos., a growth of 5% over January last year.

    Cumulative sales of commercial vehicles in the domestic market for the fiscal are 355,899 nos., a growth of 22% over last year. Cumulative LCV sales are 204,741 nos., a growth of 17% over last year, while M&HCV sales stood at 151,158 nos., a growth of 29% over last year.

    Passenger Vehicles
    The passenger vehicles business reported a total sale and distribution offtake of 32,386 nos. (30,212 Tata + 2174 Fiat) in the domestic market in January 2011, higher by 14% compared to 28,460 nos. (26,245 Tata + 2,215 Fiat) in January last year. Sales of Tata passenger vehicles are 30,212 nos., higher by 15% over January 2010. Sales of the Tata Nano were 6,703 nos., higher by 68% over January last year. The Indica range sales were 10,591 nos., lower by 8% over January last year. The Indigo range recorded sales of 8,456 nos., a growth of 17% over January last year. The Sumo/ Safari/ Aria/ Venture range accounted for sales of 4,462 nos., higher by 26% over January last year.

    Jaguar Land Rover sales continued their upward trend.

    Cumulative sales and distribution offtake of passenger vehicles in the domestic market for the fiscal are 256,749 nos. (238,909 Tata + 17,840 Fiat), against 200,464 nos. (180184, Tata + 20,280 Fiat) last year, a growth of 28%. Cumulative sales of Tata passenger vehicles were 238,909 nos., a 33% increase compared to 180,184 nos., in January last year. Cumulative sales of the Nano are 53,463 nos., a 148% increase compared to 21,535 nos., in January last year. Cumulative sales of the Indica range are 80,864 nos., lower by 11%. Cumulative sales of the Indigo family are 71,762 nos., higher by 72%. Cumulative sales of the Sumo/Safari/ Aria range are 32,820 nos., higher by 28%.

    Exports
    The company's sales from exports at 4,948 vehicles in January 2011 registered a growth of 51% compared to 3,276 vehicles in January last year. The cumulative sales from exports for the fiscal at 47,608 nos. are higher by 78% over 26,800 nos. in the same period last year.
