  • (1888PressRelease) October 12, 2020 - Cups Media is happy to partner Skillsfuture Singapore to help students and graduates to learn about developmental opportunities to develop their fullest potential through SkillsFuture Work-Study Post-Diploma programs (WSPostDip).

Targeted at fresh graduates from the Polytechnics, the program assists students with a head-start in their career related to their discipline of study and more opportunities to build on the skills and knowledge they acquired in school through a work-study arrangement.

“The Work-Study Post-Diploma programs by Skillsfuture is a true delight. Individuals are matched with a job relating to their discipline and undergo a 12 to 18 months structured traineeship and employers can also find suitable candidates to join their company and benefit from their contribution. Being a poly graduate myself, I’m exceptionally excited to work with the team from Skillsfuture to co-create the campaign. We spent our time to clarify and truly understanding the marketing objectives, target audience, locations, and then work together to design the marketing messages, key deliverables, KPIs, and put the awareness message on the quality eco-friendly paper cups so that their target audience can see, hold and touch the messages at home and in schools.” Joyce, marketing manager of Cups Media.

Taste sweet success with a sweeter dip is the tagline we’ve co-developed to promote the SkillsFuture Work-Study Post-Diploma program. Students and teachers can read the content, scan the QR code for more information, and learn about the opportunities while they are enjoying their favourite honey lemon juice or green tea when they were studying at home or school.

About 300,000 impressions were generated among the students, final year students, graduates (and their teachers) in all the Polytechnics locally through the exclusive distribution network of Cups Media. A QR code was introduced as an interactive tool to make the campaign live and socialable with the students and teachers.

The feedback received by the students and teachers were very welcoming.

Mr. Tan, a lecturer at one of the Polytechnic, shared, “The work-study program is mainly targeted at the fresh graduates. However, many of our fresh graduates make their selection of careers way before they come into the final years. The outreach campaign to all students really help me to spread the words to my students on what’s the opportunities ahead of them, so that they can be better prepared for the future.”

    Eligibility of participation:

    1. Singapore Citizen/ Permanent Resident
    2. Fresh graduate or final-year student
    3. Within three years of graduation from Polytechnics
    4. For final year students, the program will commence upon graduation
    5. For male Singaporean who will be entering NS, they can apply for the program prior to entering NS and embark on the program after completion of NS
