Salinas, CA (1888PressRelease) August 12, 2011 - Tarpy's Roadhouse, located on Hwy 68 at Canyon Del Rey in Monterey offers "Wine-Down Wednesdays," every Wednesday from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. October 2011 through May 2012. "Wine Down Wednesdays" showcases local wines, vintners and wineries and offers Tarpy's customers the chance to taste great wines and chat up a winery expert.

Each week, the featured winery offers tastes of its wines and Tarpy's offers those same wines at half-price By-The-Glass and by the bottle as well as a discounted 3-course prix-fix menu complimenting the week's featured wines. Guests will also have the chance to enter a monthly drawing for a dinner for two at Tarpy's and a basket of wine (four in total, one from each of that month's featured wineries). Wine-Down Wednesdays are free and open to the public.
