    Friday, March 11th from 2PM to 5PM
    Friday, March 11th from 6PM to 10PM **
    and Saturday, March 12th from 10AM to 1PM

    ** After the Friday evening 6:00 PM session there will be an ARRI Alexa Open House - an informal gathering with food and drinks where people can network and ask questions.

    The workshops will take place at 141 California Street, Newton, MA 02458.

    Summary:
    The ARRI Alexa brings with it exceptional performance and new options for producers, on-set, and post-production professionals. The Alexa is unique in that it offers a variety of output/recording options including on board high quality file based recording codecs, traditional uncompressed HD video as well as raw output. We will cover each of these options from the perspective of the producer, on-set personnel, and post-production to insure success when using this powerful camera technology.     Michael Bravin, owner of The Digital Picture Company, a consulting and educational organization teaching production professionals digital production techniques. Previously, Michael was with ARRI, Inc. as VP, Market Development for Digital Cameras responsible for developing new markets for ARRI with the focus on introducing the new ALEXA product line of cameras. Michael is an Associate member of the ASC, and a member of SMPTE, and The Digital Cinema Society.
