Now in its third year, the badge goes only to companies that appeared in the global top 10 solar module efficiency rankings for at least 6 months of the calendar year – a test not of a single lab result, but of sustained, commercially available performance. The 2025 recipients are AIKO, Astronergy, DMEGC Solar, Huasun Energy, JA Solar, JinkoSolar, LONGi, Maxeon, Tongwei Solar, and Trinasolar.

Who Won & For What
• AIKO: held the No. 1 position throughout 2025 with its All Back Contact (ABC) module
• LONGi: shared 2nd place with Maxeon, to then become the sole occupant from June 2025; its EcoLife product carries 25% commercial efficiency (back-contact)
• Trinasolar: featured in the top 10 for 8 months, taking 3rd place in November 2025 after Maxeon’s exit (TOPCon)
• JinkoSolar: its 23.69%-efficiency Tiger Neo took 4th position in October, replacing Huasun
• Astronergy: in the top 10 for all 12 months, reaching a highest rank of No. 5
• DMEGC Solar: stayed in the top 10, exiting the year in 6th position
• JA Solar: its DeepBlue 5.0 slipped to 6th in December from a prior top-5 spot
• Huasun Energy: consistently in the top 10 throughout 2025 as an HJT representative

A common thread: All recipients operate integrated manufacturing facilities with in-house solar cell production, demonstrating consistent performance across advanced TOPCon, back-contact (BC), and heterojunction (HJT) technologies – with TOPCon the most widely represented among the winners.

What Changed From Last Year
• Not all former recipients retained eligibility. Some manufacturers strengthened their positions over the year; others qualified by just meeting the 6-month minimum
• Maxeon was delisted in June 2025, leaving LONGi as the sole occupant of the 2nd spot
• TOPCon broke into the top 3 – Trinasolar claimed 3rd rank in November
• JinkoSolar replaced Huasun in 4th rank in October
• JA Solar’s DeepBlue 5.0 slipped to 6th rank in December from a prior top-5 position
