WB Surf Camp will inaugurate their 2011 Aloha Surf Camps series by inviting local educators to come out for a morning of complimentary surf instruction at Wrightsville Beach. This group of amazing people put in long hours in overcrowded classrooms and can still positively mold the minds of our children. They deserve a huge thank you! This complimentary Surf Camp will take place on Saturday, June 4th and will run from 7:45 -11 am at Wrightsville Beach Public Access #4.

This charity camp offers teachers a chance to experience the magical powers of the ocean as they receive individualized attention from our professional, certified instructors under a 3:1 student to instructor ratio. WB Surf Camp uses a progressional and proven teaching system that helps build confidence, provides personalized attention, and ensures safety, relaxation, and fun, all while challenging personal limits in a noncompetitive atmosphere.

"Growing up I witnessed all of the love and effort my own mom put into her students. She still is the best teacher I've ever had!" says founder Rick Civelli. "And now I watch my wife exhibit that same level of commitment and dedication in and out of her classroom and I am still in awe."

Registration is currently open online by clicking here: Clinic Registration. Spots are limited, so be sure to sign up early. Advanced registration is required.
The Aloha Camp series was developed to share the restorative Hawaiian art of surfing with those in need of a fun day at the beach. Future camp series will honor moms, UNCW students, local kids, cancer survivors, and those affected by alopecia. If you have any questions, please call 910.256.7873, Sunday through Saturday, between 7:45am and 5:45pm.
