  • (1888PressRelease) March 24, 2011 - Singapore - To join the global call to reduce carbon footprint and save the planet, Singapore EXPO is participating in Earth Hour on Saturday 26 March 2011. Neon lights at EXPO Foyer 1 and all other lights which are non-essential to the operations and safety of the venue, including ambient, flood, perimeter and walkway lights in some areas, will be switched off for an hour from 8.30pm to 9.30pm on Saturday, 26 March. Besides switching off its non-essential lights, EXPO also invites the public to sign on a giant Earth Hour banner outside Hall 5, to make pledge of protecting our planet.

The signing will take place on the following days, outside Hall 5 at Singapore EXPO:
    - Saturday, 19 March 2011, from 3pm to 7pm
    - Saturday, 26 March 2011, from 3pm to 9.30pm
