  • Chicago, IL (1888PressRelease) March 03, 2013 - Renovations to Chicago's Southport Performing Arts Conservatory (SPACE) in Chicago's Lakeview neighborhood have been completed just in time for the school's upcoming eight-week Spring session beginning March 4, 2013. Renovations to the performing arts conservatory's Lakeview location, conveniently located at 2936 N. Southport Avenue, Chicago, Ill., include new soundproofing, the construction of three private music studios with vaulted walls, a new lighting system to enhance the experience of young dancers and musicians, a private entrance as well as cosmetic upgrades.

    To celebrate the renovation project, SPACE is offering two free classes when students enroll in any music or dance classes at the Lakeview location.     The complete renovation, which took approximately three months to complete, serves to further enhance the learning experience of music and dance students while increasing the conservatory's capacity to teach and nurture more young artists in the Chicago area.
