Well known as the premiere venue not only for World Music, but all genres, in New York City and the world over SOB's purpose is to expose the musical wealth and heritage of the Afro-Latino Diaspora to as many people as possible.

    Sonido Costeño's years of performances to our global community attract new fans with each show. Establishing themselves at the formally Tito Puente's Restaurant in City Island, Sonido Costeño crafted their intimate interaction with dinner crowds which lead them to other reputable venues such as BAM Café , GyG, SOBs, Subrosa, Havana Central, Empire Casino, Resorts World Casino, St. Barts, Nova Terra, Makedas and Teak, .
