The program was organized in association with Save the Child foundation, Kairos Technologies and Pennam foundation, an organization dedicated to helping the needy.

The program was held as part of Solunus’ Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives. The employees of the organization actively participated in the event, visiting households in a large slum area and creating awareness about the need to maintain hygiene during menstruation. Speaking on the occasion, Sudhakar Pennam, the co-founder and CEO of Solunus, said lack of awareness about menstrual hygiene is a major problem as it results in profound negative effects on the health and well-being of women and girls.
