  • (1888PressRelease) March 06, 2013 - (Bridgetown, Barbados) - Solamon Energy Corp CEO Graeme Boyce is happy to announce the company has been approved in Ontario and subsequently in BVI to be re-domiciled to BVI, effective immediately, and to continue as a BVI registered company. Following this approval and continuation of business in this region, Solamon has relocated its office to Kingston, Jamaica. Over the past year, Solamon executives visited many nations in the Caribbean and chose to relocate to Jamaica for many reasons, due mainly to ease of access from North America and Central America, as well into South America.

"We have actually enjoyed three different offices in the Toronto downtown core since launching Solamon," Boyce explains, "whereby each has served as a central location in which to have meetings, simply, and each served us well over the past few years." Kingston is the capital and largest city of Jamaica, located on the southeastern coast of the island. It faces a natural harbour protected by the Palisadoes, a long sand spit which connects the town of Port Royal and the Norman Manley International Airport to the rest of the island. In the Americas, Kingston is the largest predominantly English-speaking city south of the United States.

The vast majority of the country's economic activity takes place within Kingston, and as most government ministries are located in the citys. Many multinational conglomerates and financial institutions are headquartered in and around Kingston and the Jamaican government has expressed a desire and passed legislation to transform Kingston into an International Financial Centre. Effectively immediately, Kingston will serve as a convenient hub for Solamon from which to develop current and new projects in its pipeline.

"This is an incredibly exciting time for our business and signals another milestone in our amazing story," Boyce continues. "For the foreseeable future we can easily operate from Kingston in order to meet the needs of our projects in development there and Jay Yeo will continue, on our behalf, to find suitable spaces for our administrative and marketing teams as we grow." In the wake of local media attention, Solamon is receiving many resumes from Jamaicans each day and these are now being sent to our new address:

    Solamon Energy Corp.

    Richmond Academy Building
    Kingston 10, Jamaica, West Indies
