Sharon Hill to Author Chapter of Upcoming Professional Woman Network Book for African-American Girls

Sharon Hill, Triangle-based professional speaker and business etiquette trainer, will be authoring a chapter of Sister to Sister, in which she will tell her own empowering story of how she came from humble beginnings to achieve corporate success in a global management position with IBM and, ultimately, personal fulfillment through her current career path. Hill's chapter will be entitled "Rags to Riches: My Personal Scar."

    The book, which will provide young African-American girls with insights from successful African-American women, is designed to give readers a head start in setting goals and avoiding the common pitfalls that many experience. Sister to Sister will feature chapters authored by 25 prominent African-American businesswomen, and will be edited by Linda Ellis Eastman, internationally renowned author, editor, speaker, consultant, and president of the Professional Woman Network.

    Hill has authored four books to date, focusing mainly on business etiquette and advice for achieving corporate success.
