    Mr. Barnett previously served as an intern for the U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of Alabama and the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Alabama.

    Mr. Barnett earned his law degree, cum laude, from Samford University's Cumberland School of Law, where he served as associate editor of the Cumberland Law Review. He also was a member of the Trial Advocacy Board and the Christian Legal Society, and was named a Judge Abraham Caruthers Fellow. He earned his Master of Business Administration degree from the Southern Methodist University Cox School of Business and his undergraduate degree from the University of Texas.
