Texas Instrument's (TI) compact ZigBee chip is the core of the AMR solution developed by Maven Systems. The chip is based on a ZigBee PRO compliant platform and offers a complete ZigBee PRO protocol implementation including support for the ZigBee Smart Energy profile. The module can communicate with various types of meters via a UART port. The module can support any device specified in SE profile specification 1.0 and 2.0.The solution is targeted for use in utility meters like electricity, water and gas meters.
