To diversify the global interest in Korean culture, which is usually limited to "hallyu" (the Korean Wave), this contest aims to attract more foreign visitors to Seoul through Korean cuisine. This contest is co-hosted by the Seoul Metropolitan Government and Asiana Airlines.

Five winners will be selected to take a culinary trip to Seoul, there another contest will be held to determine the finalist. Those who want to participate can create a short video, in which they make a traditional Korean or a Korean-Western fusion dish with their own recipe. The next step is to post the video as a response to the "Delicious SEOUL Story" video on the city's YouTube channel at www.youtube.com/visitseoul. Contestants with the best five videos will win a "Delicious Seoul Story" trip to Seoul from November 23rd to 26th.

On the "Delicious SEOUL Story" tour, the winners will be treated with a Bulgogi cooking experience with Korean cuisine masters, a Kimchi making experience, and a visit to a traditional market, while enjoying Korean cuisine at a number of gourmet restaurants and visiting popular tourist attractions in Seoul.

At this contest, the contestants will recreate their recipes for the five official judges, all of which are Korean food experts. The winner will be awarded with an extra prize.

The Seoul city government expects this contest to encourage foreigners to make Korean cuisine themselves, enhance the understanding of Korean culture, and eventually prompting visits to Seoul.
