  • (1888PressRelease) March 14, 2015 - Sennheiser will be located at booth #1829 at the show, which will take place at the Gaylord Palms Resort and Convention Center in Orlando, Florida.

Sennheiser's booth will spotlight an array of models for the contact center and office marketplace, offering Bluetooth, DECT wireless and wired units. These include the new D 10 family of high performance, noise-cancelling headsets, in addition to the DW, SD wireless, Century, Circle, Culture, MB and PRESENCE headsets; plus Sennheiser's new, award-winning unified communications SP 10 and SP 20 speakerphones. These models facilitate outstanding intelligibility and audio quality for a roster of challenging office environments. Their advanced features address scenarios ranging from high-noise call centers to on-the-go teleworkers who must field calls from unpredictable off-site locations such as busy trade show floors or high-traffic, open public spaces.

A list of Sennheiser products, including the Century wired headsets, were honored with the prestigious iF DESIGN AWARDS for 2014 in the iF International Forum Design competition.

Sennhseiser CC&O (contact center and office) products have been gaining steady market share in the telecommunications, SMB and enterprise sectors as more organizations seek sophisticated unified communications (UC) solutions to future-proof their telephony systems. These often deliver advanced capabilities for messaging and customer engagement-yet quality audio and headset durability has been a largely neglected element in many of these deployments. As a 70-year old global leader in quality audio, Sennheiser has developed the market's leading headsets, headphones and microphones for the consumer electronics and professional recording industries. The company recently embarked on a campaign to improve audio standards in the contact center and office markets, offering superior intelligibility, comfort, and robust construction designed to last long-term.

"We're excited to introduce our cutting edge headset and speakerphone products to the high-tech business community at Enterprise Connect. Companies have been more than willing to make significant investments in high-end unified communications systems. Yet for too long, audio quality has been viewed as a peripheral part of these deployments," said Bill Whearty, vice president, sales and marketing, CC&O, Americas, Sennheiser Electronic Corp. "If the voice quality of a system is compromised, then no matter how many sophisticated features a company has bargained for in its communications network, in the end that company is still communicating deficiently with its customers and business partners, and their technology investment has failed."

Sennheiser entered the contact center and office market after finding that unsatisfactory audio quality is far too commonplace in workplace environments, being considered almost a resigned inevitability for both consumers and customer service agents. "Poor voice quality and disposable headsets that require constant replacements are just not acceptable," continued Whearty. "Sennheiser models rise to the same engineering standards that define the remainder of the customer's communications architecture. We're looking to change the corporate and reseller mindset to acknowledge that audio fidelity is a telecommunications priority."
