  • (1888PressRelease) March 24, 2014 - DUBAI, UAE - Following the overwhelmingly positive response to its recently launched TeamConnect HD audio conferencing system, the Sennheiser Group today expanded its portfolio of solutions for enterprise and public sector organizations with the introduction of ADN-W, the wireless extension of the successful ADN conference system.

Mr. Mig Cardamone, Director of Sales and Marketing at Sennheiser Middle East said, "We have identified the demand in the local market for high performance conferencing solutions and have been quick to establish ourselves as a technology leader in the field. With the ADN-W system, Sennheiser has brought its long established industry expertise in wireless audio systems into the business solutions arena. ADN-W expands the success of our popular ADN conferencing system by adding the freedom and flexibility of wireless connectivity. We expect healthy uptake of this solution by hotels, banks, government organizations and our corporate customers."

Organizations can connect up to 150 wireless discussion units simultaneously while additional units can be added quickly and easily during the conference itself. The system's flexible Ethernet interface features state-of-the-art technology and allows the conference system to be controlled intuitively from a PC or media control system. The replaceable rechargeable batteries guarantee an operating period of at least 20 hours for the ADN-W discussion units.

As with all Sennheiser audio products, the ADN-W system guarantees clear sound and a comfortable listening experience for all conference participants in the room. In order to exclude all unwanted listeners, audio transmission via the Sennheiser ADN-W conference system is encrypted: AES 128-bit encryption protects the system securely against eavesdropping.

ADN-W runs a simple and intuitive operating system and permits wired components to be seamlessly combined with wireless ones. This allows customers using Sennheiser's existing ADN system to easily expand their solution by adding ADN-W components, and control all discussion units directly through the same central unit.

    User-friendly and flexible
Maximum user-friendliness is also ensured when it comes to transporting and re-charging the wireless conference system. The flexible ADN-W Case contains dedicated, stackable modules for all system components, as well as integrated units for re-charging the discussion units. The sturdy charging and transport case can be individually adapted to the size of the system.

Furthermore, Sennheiser will provide regular software updates to continuously improve the ADN-W system and to ensure that it maintains its state-of-the-art technology. "The numerous features and rapid set-up of the wireless system make ADN-W a very efficient, future-proof solution," explained Mig Cardamone. "And not least, of course, ADN-W also comes in the accustomed modern and elegant design."
