  • (1888PressRelease) November 16, 2012 - The Emergency Watch is available in 12 models and with two different Swisscom subscriptions.
There are situations in life where you rely on quick assistance. Sport, for example, or if you are elderly and out by yourself, or if you have a chronic illness that can flare up suddenly. The Emergency Watch, developed by Limmex, is the world’s first watch that allows you to request assistance anywhere at the touch of a button. The watch works every bit as reliably outdoors as it does at home. Simply press a button and the Emergency Watch will set up a phone call for you. Depending on the subscription, the call will go to a person designated in advance by the customer or to a professional emergency call centre.

    Two subscriptions – 12 models

Customers can choose between two suitable Swisscom subscriptions. The Basic subscription for CHF 25 per month allows customers to designate up to 10 people/phone numbers that are to be called in sequence in the event of an emergency. These can be family members, neighbours or organisations such as Spitex. Customers can determine the action to be taken directly with the contact person via the watch. With the Professional subscription for CHF 45 per month, the call goes directly to a professional emergency call centre so that the appropriate assistance can be organised as quickly as possible. The Professional subscription also includes automatic positioning of the person in need as soon as an emergency call is initiated.

Swisscom offers 12 Emergency Watch models – from classic to elegant to sporty. The watches are high-quality products and are manufactured in Switzerland. They are sold as a package with either a Basic or Professional subscription. The package price from CHF 745 includes the watch and the cost of the first year's Basic or Professional subscription. The watches are available from Swisscom's dedicated online shop at www.swisscom.ch/notruf-uhr, and also from the medical and hospital supplies dealer Salzmann Medico.
