  • (1888PressRelease) December 13, 2011 - Singapore and Malaysia -- It was a moment that many gamers had been waiting for. XW Online, the 3D martial arts Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game (MMORPG), had started searching for its game ambassador since August 2011. After many intense rounds of competition and voting, the grand champion was finally revealed at the recently concluded Asiasoft All Star Battle Malaysia 2011 on 4th December 2011. Miss Anna Chin rose from the ranks and was crowned the Princess Snow Game Ambassador for XW Online.

Other than winning for herself a set of cosmetics worth RM400, she also walked away with RM2,000 in cold hard cash! Being appointed the official game ambassador for XW Online, she shared that she was extremely delighted to win the competition and looked forward to fulfill her new role as Princess Snow game ambassador, in addition to her current commitments in her sales job and part-time modeling.

During the interview, she also shared her journey on becoming Princess Snow. One of the main challenges that she faced was to garner votes in the game and on Facebook, but she overcame the little obstacle with patience and finesse. She also enjoys a spot of gaming every now and then, loves to sing, shop and surf the internet.

When asked about how she would use the prize money that she had won, she let in on her little personal goal. As an avid fashion lover, she hoped to open her own fashion store one day, and therefore, the prize money would contribute toward the fund to fulfill this goal.

As the dust settled for XW Online's game ambassador search, another search is slowly gaining momentum, on a much bigger scale and with much higher stakes. It is a search for the top guild in XW Online, and prize money of US$10,000 in cash awaits the mightiest guild since the game was launched in August 2011.

Qualifying rounds for the mightiest guild tournament opened to a rousing start in late November 2011 as guilds had to meet stringent requirements before they could qualify for the battle. The guilds would have to be ranked within the top four positions based on the ranking system before they could qualify, following which, the qualifying guilds would have to start planning their battle strategy by selecting the best members to form the final team for the battle.

The results were soon announced and in a slight twist of fate, two of the four guilds were disqualified from the competition as they had failed to complete their submission for the tournament within the given time. After a week-long discussion, the registration was once again opened to another five top guilds and the first two guilds who submitted their complete registration details would qualify for the battle to be held on 17th December 2011 in Johor Bahru.
