Tanya N. Helfand has been named a ‘Woman of Valor’.

The Woman of Valor award is presented each year to a woman who has proven to be a leader in the community. Stemming from a hymn in the Book of Proverbs, this woman is recognized as an openly giving and compassionate person committed to the cause of the Jewish people and Israel. Being considered “a woman of valor” is one of the best compliments a Jewish woman can receive and is based on great women from the Torah.
Tanya’s commitment to her community and her work as a family and marital law attorney exemplify the true spirit of a Woman of Valor. With decades of experience advocating for individuals and families, she has distinguished herself not only as a skilled legal professional but also as a steadfast source of support and empowerment for those facing challenging times.

With almost three decades of legal experience, Tanya N. Helfand focuses her practice on Family Law and Divorce. She is a Certified Matrimonial Attorney and, prior to joining Schenck Price in 2022, had her own practice for 25 years. Tanya serves on the Superior Court’s Matrimonial Early Settlement Panel in Morris and Essex Counties. Tanya has an extensive business background, which is extremely helpful with all the areas of her practice.
