    About Obama- Singh Initiative
Obama-Singh 21st Century Knowledge Initiative (OSI) project was launched in 2012 to implement reformed curriculum in emerging areas of Agriculture and Food Security in two State Agricultural Universities of India. This project is supported by US India Education Foundation (USIEF) and led by Cornell University in collaboration with two of India's leading State Agricultural Universities, University of Agricultural Sciences, Dharwad (UASD) and Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel University of Agriculture and Technology, Meerut (SVPUA&T), and with India's leading private sector firm in the area of life sciences, Sathguru Management Consultants.

Over the years, OSI has built strong collaborative linkages between Indian State Agricultural Universities and International agricultural institutions to strengthen agricultural education through Indian and US faculty exchange visits.

These exchange visits have provided the universities in understanding their curriculum structure and helped them in developing new courses.
