Abstract
Privacy regulations have been changing in recent years in a reaction to the evolving practices of companies. Attention is increasingly given to individual participation in the processing of their data and the increased interest of companies in monetizing personal information, often through the sharing of data with various third parties. This session will highlight key new privacy requirements that have a direct impact on how organizations collect and maintain personal information and will analyze litigation risks that are associated with some of these new requirements.
