    Based in Madison's regional offices in Dallas, the veteran real estate attorney will be responsible for managing the agency's southwest client portfolio. As part of Madison's growth strategy, he will be developing and expanding services for commercial and residential property acquisitions, development and management.

    Mr. Addison has extensive experience in property acquisition, land development, and ad valorem taxes, along with broad knowledge of contract preparation and negotiation, conveyances, and lender documentation. In 2006, he founded a private law practice located in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, concentrating in real property (commercial and residential), business organizations, and wills and probate. He consulted with clients regarding business formation and operations, property sales, finances and development, and mediation, with responsibility as co-counsel for several large cases that were resolved and settled without the necessity of litigation.

    From 1997 to 2006, Mr. Addison was Vice President and Associate Counsel at Stewart Title North Texas, Inc., where he provided legal expertise and interpreted case law, legislation, and Department of Insurance rules, regulations, and bulletins. With a bachelor's degree from the University of Texas at Arlington, he holds a Juris Doctor from Texas Tech University School of Law. He is licensed to practice law in the State of Texas and the U.S. District Court, North District of Texas. Mr. Addison has been active in numerous civic and community organizations, including the Task Force for Development of Social Services in Northeast Tarrant County and the Northeast and Airport YMCAs.

    Madison recently relocated its Texas operations from Plano to Dallas, with new headquarters in the First American Center, 8435 N. Stemmons Freeway.
