  • West Palm Beach-Boca Raton, FL (1888PressRelease) November 11, 2015 - Global furniture icon Roche Bobois Paris and internationally distributed interior design magazine Florida Design recently hosted members of the interior design industry for "Demonstrations and Discussions." Champagne and a continental breakfast were enjoyed by the interior designers and architects who gathered at Roche Bobois' new Aventura showroom for a presentation on "How to Get Your Designs Published" by Florida Design's editorial team Annette Galbo and Robin Hodes. The event also introduced Roche Bobois' new Trade Program, created for interior designers as well as residential/commercial builders, developers, architects, specifiers and other members of the trade.

"Roche Bobois has always considered interior designers to be among our most valued clients," noted Julien Bigan, Roche Bobois communications director, U.S. "Their participation has helped our company enjoy our unique status as the largest, most successful furniture designer and distributor in the world."

A highlight of Bigan's Trade Program presentation, which he made along with Trade Division Design and Sales Manager, Florida, Carolina Caceres, was an overview of Roche Bobois' new, interactive website whereby designers can enter a specific product category and immediately see a vast number of furnishings and accessories available in that category. Images can be manipulated and customized with various fabrics and finishes. Visit www.roche-bobois.com and click on "Products" then "Access 3-D Studio." Bigan also explained that designers can be sent a wide variety of samples to review with their clients and that their "quick ship" program is further enhanced by the company's South Florida warehouse that is filled with new furnishings available for immediate delivery.

"It was a pleasure to tour the designers around our showroom and hear about the exciting projects they're working on," said showroom manager Patrick Cabaroc. "Many of them showed great interest in specific pieces that have just arrived. One designer said, 'There's been a lot of buzz about your new collections. Now I see why.'"

Florida Design's Editorial Director Annette Galbo said during her presentation to the designers, "We need you. Designers are the lifeblood of all our publications. You and the amazing projects you submit are what have kept us atop the list of the country's most widely read design publications for over 25 years. You are also the reason hundreds of thousands of copies of Florida Design are distributed around the world. People everywhere want to see what's going on in Florida!"

Publisher Jeff Lichtenstein added, "We always look forward to personally meeting with South Florida's designers, and what better place to do so then in Roche Bobois' beautiful new showroom."

Founded in 1960 with the merger of two French family-run furniture businesses, Roche Bobois evolved to be not only the world's largest company of its kind with over 250 showrooms in 40+ countries, but also the only furniture designer and manufacturer to introduce two, completely new lines twice a year, each of which contains two different lines, Les Contemporains and Nouveaux Classiques collections. Les Contemporains features sleek, dramatic contemporary furnishings while Nouveaux Classiques takes more traditional, "organic" pieces and infuses them with contemporary finishes, fabrics and textures. Both collections come with Roche Bobois' complete customization services.

South Florida locations include Aventura (305) 935-0035, Coral Gables (305) 444-1168 and North Palm Beach (561) 835-4982. Visit roche-bobois.com for more information.
