  • (1888PressRelease) June 11, 2013 - Washington, D.C. - For the past 25 years, the Rolling Thunder Run has been on a mission to champion and educate the public on Prisoners of War (POWs), those Missing in Action (MIAs), and Vietnam Veterans. Rolling Thunder has grown over the years into one of the country's largest motorcycle events, and welcomes riders from all over the nation and the world.

As a former police officer, the mission of Rolling Thunder aligns with Mr. Brehne's strong beliefs in service before self and his efforts to continue to protect and serve others through his legal profession.

Rolling Thunder Run XXVI, held May 24-27th, brought about 900,000 participants and spectators to celebrate Memorial Day weekend. The event included a candlelight vigil to pay tribute to fallen soldiers, Rolling Thunder tribute bikes built in honor of each branch of the United States Armed Forces, the annual Reveille Rally, First Amendment Demonstration Run, and the National Memorial Day parade to end of the weekend.

"I was really excited to take part in this historic event," says Brehne. "It was emotionally moving to sit among our veterans and watch how they embraced as brothers without even knowing each other." Brehne, whose 911 Biker Law practice focuses on complex personal injury litigation in motorcycle accidents, was in awe of the number of bikers present and the ease at which they travelled the city and surrounding areas. He was proud to note the number of bikers that use helmets and other safety gear. Brehne makes a point at every biker event he attends to explain how prevention in the form of safe riding and protective gear can reduce serious and fatal accidents.
