RGA Offers Newspaper Training Program

Scranton--Wilkes-Barre-Hazleton, PA (1888PressRelease) November 13, 2010 - Rick Grant & Associates (RGA), a public relations and marketing communications firm that specializes in emerging media to tell customer success stories, is offering a Newspaper Training Program on Thursday, November 11, 2010, from 6-8 PM. The program is aimed at adults who have always wanted to write for the local paper but do not have the skills or contacts to get their material printed.

"Being a good newspaper reporter requires a willingness to be objective and observant," said Rick Grant, Principal of RGA. "Participants in our newspaper class are going to learn what it takes to cover local news and sell what they write to local papers. We'll talk about what it takes to be a good reporter and provide tips for getting published immediately."

The class will be held at the RGA office located at 47 Broadway, Suite 201. The cost is $25 per person. Space is limited and the class will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. To register for the class, please call the RGA office at 570-325-2818 during business hours.
