(NASDAQ: RECN), is pleased to announce the appointment of Tim Brackney to regional managing director of its Northern California region, which includes the San Francisco, Sacramento, Silicon Valley and Walnut Creek practices. Brackney will be responsible for managing key client relationships; leading client service, recruiting and administrative teams; as well as developing and executing business development strategy for the region. Brackney succeeds Kim Tagle, who has taken on a new role as regional managing director of strategic accounts for Resources' Western region.

    Prior to this appointment, Brackney served as regional managing director of the Pacific Northwest where he oversaw the Boise, Portland and Seattle practices. He joined Resources in 2002 as managing director of the Portland office. Prior to Resources, Brackney was a senior manager in the consulting practice of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, where he started his career as a staff accountant.

    Brackney received his Bachelor of Business Administration in accountancy from the University of Notre Dame and his Masters in Business Administration from Stanford University. He serves on the board for Doernbecher Children's Hospital Foundation, the budget and finance committee of Multnomah Athletic Club, and the board of trustees for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Brackney was recognized as Man of the Year by the Portland Chapter of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society in 2007, and as one of the Portland Business Journal's 40 under 40 in 2006.
