  • Mobile, AL (1888PressRelease) May 24, 2013 - Remington College Mobile Campus congratulates Deena McCormAck for winning a $1500 scholarship from DCP Midstream, the second-largest natural gas gatherer and processor in the U.S.

    Ms. McCormAck is pursuing her associate's degree in Remington College's Process Technology program. This is her second industry-related scholarship. Last year she was awarded a $750 scholarship from the Gulf Coast Process Technology Alliance, a trade group committed to educational opportunities for students pursuing careers in technology.

    "Deena is a very hard working, committed student who is well-deserving of the scholarships that she is earning," said Stephen Backman, Remington College Mobile Campus President.

    The Remington College Process Technology Program is designed to prepare students for entry-level careers working on pumps, compressors, heat exchangers, boilers and furnaces in a variety of industrial fields, such as petroleum, pulp and paper, food processing, chemical manufacturing, power generation and wastewater treatment. 1
