Remington College Little Rock Campus Congratulates Graduate for Earning Medal of Merit from the Pulaski County Sheriff's Office

  • (1888PressRelease) May 26, 2017 - Little Rock, Ark. - Remington College Little Rock Campus congratulates Deputy Sean Rogers for recently being honored by the Pulaski County Sheriff's Office.

    Rogers is a 2011 graduate from Remington College Little Rock Campus, having earned his degree in criminal justice.

    Deputy Rogers was presented with the Medal of Merit, given to members of the department who have performed meritorious action in the line of duty.

    Deputy Rogers was recognized for twice preventing dangerous items from entering the jail facility.

    His award nomination states: "Deputy Rogers located a firearm in the search of a recently arrested person in intake. His diligent search, quick thinking and recovery of the firearm prevented it from being brought into the detention center. Deputy Rogers had also apprehended a woman outside the jail that was attempting to throw contraband over the fence. Once again his diligence prevented contraband from being introduced in to the Pulaski County jail."
