  • Houston, TX (1888PressRelease) February 08, 2013 - In her new position, Ms. Mullins will oversee the campus Allied Health Department, which offers students diploma programs in Dental Assisting, Medical Assisting, Medical Assisting with X-Ray Tech (Limited Scope) & EKG and Medical Billing and Coding.

    Ms. Mullins comes to Remington College from Vatterott College in Oklahoma City, where she most recently served as Program Director for medical programs. She also worked as an instructor at Vatterott College, teaching Medical Office Assistant classes for four years. Ms. Mullins also taught Medical Office Assistant classes at DeMarge College in Oklahoma City.

    Prior to her career in education, Ms. Mullins spent more than 20 years working as a nurse, with experience in hospital, home health care, and primary care settings.

    Ms. Mullins is a Licensed Practical Nurse and a Certified Medical Assistant. She is a member of the Texas Nurses Association, the Oklahoma Nurses Association, American Association of Medical Assistants and the Texas Medical Assistant State Society.

    Ms. Mullins is currently pursuing a Bachelor's of Science in Business Administration degree through Capella Univesity.
